Hello everyone, I’m Anyra Dayaseelan, a 23-year-old transgender woman looking to raise money to pay for my surgeries that will transform my life forever and for the better. I work at an MNC, a private company as a Project Coordinator and the income I receive from here is what has been supporting my medical expenses the past few months.
I live in Bengaluru, Karnataka by myself. The Gender Dysphoria has been medically diagnosed since 2021 in Bengaluru, Karnataka, but the condition has been present in me for as long as I can remember. My surgeries are set to take place in the next few months, which is why I have been on Hormone Replacement Therapy the past 1.5 years. I am proud to say that I have been able to fund myself for the treatment and other procedures such as laser hair removal, hospitalisations, and other medical expenses. However, I have reached a point in my journey where I need the financial help to finally achieve my lifelong dream - becoming Anyra.
Due to my family's poor financial condition and the fact that I support them, I do not have any cushioning to fall back on. Due to all this and more in recent months, depression and increasing gender dysphoria have impacted my mental and physical health. One could even lose their life in these risky and expensive surgeries. Choosing a reliable hospital and an educated doctor is therefore essential. Surgery and medical expenses together would cost approximately Rupees 9,50,000, of which I have secured Rupees 50,000 through savings and loans from friends. The fundraiser would literally save my life as I cannot take out any more loans due to my current financial situation.
I will keep my entire process and journey as transparent as I can. This is because I know the time you have put into my cause is more valuable than anything else, and I would like for you to be a part of my journey.
For the remainder of my procedures, I need Rs 9,00,000 in the next few days to a month.
