We are here to raise funds for Antony Rex Fernando, a young man whose life took a dramatic turn at 18. Rex's challenges began when his mother was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Despite his father's relentless work on a ship to cover the mounting medical expenses, her condition advanced to stage 4, and after a prolonged battle, Rex tragically lost his mother. The cost of her treatment exhausted the family's savings, leaving them unable to afford Rex's college tuition. To continue his education, they had to sell his mother's cherished jewelry and other valuables.

Just when it seemed like things were stabilizing, Rex suffered a severe bike accident that left him bedridden for two years. He underwent more than 10 surgeries—7 major and 3 minor—in an attempt to save his leg. Unfortunately, due to financial constraints, the difficult decision was made to amputate his leg. Now, Rex needs a prosthetic limb, which is quite expensive due to damage to his knee, and he also needs support to complete his college education.
