A very unfortunate incident occurred on 11th Feb, 2025 when a Paraglider Pilot walked by cattle grazing in the fields, and the Big Bagpack startled the animal which ended up running into a deep trench and broke both legs. The animal had to be put down as it was unable to stand and the poor farmers were in no condition to nurture the cattle, which is a sad reality.  
The villagers agreed that the Pilot is not responsible for this tragic accident, however the aggrieved family and the villagers had approached the organizers during the Panchgani Open XC Competition-2025, and requested if any help could be granted to these poor farmers.
