Hello....I am an individual from saburbs of Bombay. I am myself a teacher. One of my closest friends is in the hospital since 47 days now. She had gone in for a simple procedure to get her uterus removed due to lifelong problems. But unfortunately, her case was very complicated with the uterus getting stuck to the neighbouring organs and hence the surgeon had a tough surgery on his hands. During it, her intestine was injured and it formed a half inch diameter hole. This came to light during her hospitalization and post operative recovery. She had to undergo emergency surgery. This led to more complications as during a period of 4 days waste material had leaked out and formed a number of spots at various places between her abdominal organs. Many painful procedures, tests, and treatment for more than 40 days and she is yet to come back on the path of recovery with many days feeling totally hopeless and the feeling that she might not survive. Originally she had to pay only 90,000 for her first operation.Later on , 5 ct scans, hundreds of blood tests with Senior most doctors trying to heal her has led to expenses crossing 12 lakhs with no end in sight. EVERYONE in her family, friends has done their utmost to help her to the point of her mum, grandmother, and herself selling all their jewellery, selling of her bike etc. We ourselves have pledged all our gold and got loan for her. All avenues have ended now. On top of that, it is still a long way to go for her to get better and get discharged with intensive care and help needed for the coming 3 to 6 months. Pls help her. Help her live for her young daughter.Help her live for her windowed mother. Even prayers sent her way will be most appreciated. Pls help.
