Help us to feed the orphan street animals

This is Anjan Ravisrinivasan from Chennai, I am here to raise funds for the Orphan street animals.

We are a family of passionate animal lovers who has taken it upon ourselves to feed the animals in our city. Until now, we have been managing the finances for this endeavor ourselves, but due to Covid-19, I have taken a substantial pay cut (as I work in the aviation industry which is severely affected), and my wife, who is a freelancer, has lost all work opportunities. As a result, we find ourselves open to any contribution to ensuring our friends are fed.

I would request you to feed the animals in your locality, in your capacity, because they really need us. In the very least, a water bowl outside your building will ensure the animals don't go thirsty.

Please come forward to support our cause. Any contribution will be of immense help. Do contribute and share this campaign link with your friends and family.

Hello dear contributors,

From September 1, we started a monthly contribution model which ensures this mission is sustainable for the long run. The Milaap link continues to be active for our contributors living abroad, who have the convenience of making their contributions in their local currency.

Through the monthly contributor model, we aim to build a large community of animal lovers, ensuring our friends on the street have someone to rely on.

If you want to know more about this model, please do message me via Milaap.

Dear supporters,

I hope you are all doing well.

To give you an update, the Milaap fundraiser you contributed towards, ended (the end date was set by me) and at that point in time, I thought of exploring an alternate idea to keep our mission sustainable. The idea was to circulate a Form on social media, giving supporters such as yourselves, the opportunity to contribute a fixed monthly amount (which was set from INR 50/-), in the hope that we could build something sustainable for our animal friends.

Unfortunately though, the response towards this idea, has been poor. While I try to re-think other options for sustainability, I find myself coming back to Milaap so as to sustain funds in the interim period.

Hence, I request you all to once again share this fundraiser with your friends and family, in order for us to sustain this mission. In the meantime, I am exploring other options to ensure our availability for our animal friends only increases in the future.

Have a great weekend!

Hello supporters,

Yet another successful month of having fed as many dogs (cats and the occasional monkeys too) as possible. Going forth though, I feel getting contributions through such platforms may prove un-sustainable as it feels tedious setting a limit and achieving it. I think a more sustainable method would be to have supporters such as yourselves contribute on a monthly basis; this way we can be assured of the finances we are working with, and even expand to maybe providing critical Healthcare for animals injured in road accidents. It's still a plan in a very early stage, but I hope something along those lines materialises, Hey as long as our animal friends know they can count on us!

Thanks again
