Story

About us:
Hands That Heal Animal Care Foundation is a shelter home for 300+ destitute and injured animals. We are located in Raigad inside a beautiful sanctuary surrounded by trees and hills. Hands That Heal provides care, nourishment and a loving home for abandoned, sick or injured pets and animals. We rescue animals from unfortunate situations and provide them with necessary medical and rehabilitation care that they require. We also work to find them carefully screened well-matched homes.

Mission:
At HTH we recieve a dozen calls daily seeking shelter for injured animals like Dogs, Cats and even Lifestock. We wish to help all such animals and consider them our main priority. HTH is foremost a shelter for injured and sick animals.

Electricity Problem:
Due to heavy rains and our shelter being in the forest area there are extreme power outage. Electricity is required for almost everything to carry out daily tasks. Be it cooking, cleaning, washing bedsheets and utensils, storage of vaccines, food and medicines and so on. Even in the summers there's no choice but to call for generators which becomes a large extra expense on our already strained finances.

Solar Power Solution:
We are aiming to raise INR 3,15,827/- for the purchase, freight and installation with this campaign. The solar panels will be installed over the sheds of dogs, cats, cows, goats, horses donkeys and birds which get ample sunlight without any obstruction. Reducing the cost of electricity bill will greatly help us direct our funds and donations towards the animals. Please contribute so that the rescued animals of Hands That Heal can get electricity and light.
