We have two dedicated shelter spaces, primarily run for the rescue and rehabilitation of community dogs & cats. We run at a capacity of approximately 300 animals. 

Empathy Unlimted has a team of trained and dedicated team of 18 full time employees trained to medicate and nurture animals as per their needs.



Our animals come from various part of Thane District, sometimes even from Navi Mumbai & Mumbai. Our primary objective is to provide free animal rescue admission services from economically deprived areas needed special care. We take in admission requests from people who themselves cannot or do not help the animals in need. 

We believe no animal should be left untreated because of monetary restrictions.
Empathy Unlimited focus’s on providing healthcare and rehabilitation to the most critical and vulnerable animals under our care.

We don’t compromise on the quality of care and make sure our animals go to the best of vets in the city. We give them specialised case based treatment by going to ortho specialists, oncologists, kidney specialists eye specialists also if required. 

We follow proper medical examinations and procedures required to treat the varied illnesses and injuries. Be it food, sheltering or medical care, no compromises are made by us. 

If deemed fit the animals are released after having them sterilised and fully vaccinated. If not, the animals continue to live with us. We have hundreds of disabled, old, abandoned and other dependent animals that live with us as permanent residents.



Our monthly expenses cross 12 lakh Rupees which includes expenses of rents, power, fuel, food, medicine, salaries, vet bills and other miscellaneous expenses. Additionally, we have bills worth 12 lakhs pending from various vets and vendors!
