People for Animals (PFA), Thiruvananthapuram (Reg. No: 158/99 | A.W.B.I Recognition No: 23-2 / 2004-05)  is a charitable organization that champions the cause of animals, and operates a full-fledged shelter along with a veterinary hospital since 2007. We do an average of around 5-8 rescues animals in distress on a daily basis, control dog population by sterilisation, conduct adoption drives, fights against cruelty to animals and conduct awareness programmes in Trivandrum and nearby districts.  Our shelter runs on contributions from like-minded animal lovers and we do not have any corporate sponsors nor government grants.

Due to the pandemic, our funding has depleted drastically making it difficult to run the shelter including paying salaries to our dedicated staff.In the face of unprecedented challenges, lack of timely resources can be crippling. Please contribute in any way you can.    

We urgently require donations for: 

1.  Food for 180 animals at our shelter 
2.  Medicines for the injured animals
3.  Daily food for 500 community dogs
4.  Salaries for our dedicated staff - Veterinary doctor and nurse, caretakers, driver cum rescuer, Operations Manager
