As each one of you already knew about the grave situation that arises to our society due to worldwide COVID-19 viral outbreak from past few weeks. The whole world community is under a threat of serious epidemic which in turn forces Government across the globe to enforce a total lock down in every sectors of our society and our country is also not an exception to this.
Almost every sector of our economy is being halted by this lock-down. Daily wage earners are the worst hit sections of our society. These sections of people are now rendered work less and they are now finding it difficult in this current situation to make a bare minimum living for them. At the same time they are also finding it difficult to acquire minimum health and hygiene essentials at this crucial hour.
So, as a responsible members of our community, we are starting this fundraiser campaign with a generous motive of providing essential support to those worst hit section of our community.
Plan:
Our initial plan is to identify 1000 of those worst hit families in the state of Assam by the impact of this lock down and provide them essential support to continue their day to day life during this entire lock down period.
At this moment, we aimed at supporting these 1000 families with a week’s ration and hygiene equipment. We roughly estimate this cost at Rs 1000 per family per week. Our assistance will include 7 days of essential ration, sanitiser, and minimum pharmaceutical help to those in serious need, diapers for babies and tampons, pads and other period supplies for women’s.
Execution:
We will execute our campaign with the help of local authorities and volunteers and will keep everything in a total and fare transparent way.
First, we will identify 1000 of those worst hit families with the help of available concerned authorities and plan the best way possible for providing our support to them according to the scenario that will unfold with each of those families.
Both, Direct bank transfer of support amount as well as providing material resource to remote and inaccessible areas will be undertaken.
A proof of every rupee spent will be made public to our supporters and sponsors.
Beneficiaries:
Daily wage earners, women’s and children living both in rural as well as urban areas of Assam.
