“Even if we study, what is there for students like us when we grow up?” 

A 13-year-old government-school student once asked us this question.


He was intelligent, curious and capable. What he lacked was access to career information, professional role models and guidance on how education could lead to a meaningful livelihood.

Across India, many students grow up with ambition but limited exposure to the opportunities beyond their immediate surroundings. Their futures are often shaped not by their abilities, but by what they have had the chance to see.

At Anahata United Efforts Foundation, we are working to change this reality through our Students to Professionals (S2P) Career Planning Program. We believe every student deserves the opportunity to imagine a future, understand the path towards it and make informed choices with confidence.

The program is designed as a structured, class-wise career exploration journey from Class 8 to Class 12 ( PU2) where the students explore, build awareness, plan, seek experience and are empowered to realize their potential.

Building Career Planning into Public Education

To reach every student, career planning cannot remain a service provided to select schools for one time. It must become part of how schools and education systems support students year after year.

We have therefore developed a teacher-led, systemic approach that enables governments and educational institutions to adopt career planning within their curriculum and classroom practices.
