Amir Bikram Thakuri belongs to an underprivileged Nepali-migrant family living in Gurgaon, Haryana. He has been diagnosed with a rare genetic degenerative disease PLA2G6 related dystonia parkinsonism which results in rapid cognitive decline, loss of control over motor skills and seizures. His sister, brother-in-law and niece have been by his side day and night. The medical bills have been bearing down on the family, they have already spent about 2 lakhs in the last year since his condition worsened.
In the next 30 days, we need Rs.4,00,000.00 so that his family can sustainably nurse him and ensure proper treatment.
Please come forward to support my cause. Any contribution will be of immense help. Do contribute and share this campaign link with your friends and family.
Please note that we are updating the amount to Rs. 8,00,000 to cover a longer period of care taking. The amount also includes gene mapping of the family members who need to be tested for the genetic inconsistency as well since they are also susceptible to the disease.
