To Whom So Ever It May Concern,
I'm deeply grateful to all who have supported and donated till this point. However on the basis of the reviews and complications that have arisen these days the doctors have raised the approximate expenditure for the retransplant. Kindly refer to the certified document by the doctors. I would remain deeply obliged for any contribution made in support for my daughter, Amal Megha John, aged 23, who has been under continuous medical care since 2010.
Her journey began with the diagnosis of capillary haemangioma, for which she underwent four sessions of bleomycin injections. In 2014, she started experiencing multiple episodes of menorrhagia and was diagnosed with Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP), requiring repeated blood and platelet transfusions.
Despite these challenges, she continued her education with determination and successfully completed her Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics and Communication).
However, in 2023, she was diagnosed with Autoimmune Hepatitis, and her condition deteriorated rapidly. In August 2024, she underwent a liver transplant. Unfortunately, the transplant has not succeeded as hoped, and she is now facing severe graft rejection. She has been listed for a liver retransplant, which is her only chance of survival.
As parents, we have done everything within our means to support her medically, emotionally, and financially. We have exhausted all our resources over the years. At this stage, the cost of further treatment and the impending retransplant surgery is beyond our financial capacity.
We are earnestly seeking financial assistance or any form of support that can help us provide our daughter a second chance at life. Any contribution, no matter how small, will mean the world to us and bring us one step closer to her recovery. We humbly request your compassion, support, and prayers during this critical time.
Thanking you in anticipation,
Yours sincerely,
Sangeetha John(mother)
