Alphonsa's life almost shattered when she lost her only son Soloman Raja who was just 28yrs old unexpectedly in a road accident. Her husband lost the job due to physical disability (hearing impaired) and their son was the sole bread winner for the family.

Things even worsened when Alphonsa was diagnosed with Breast cancer and as per doctors instructions her breast was also removed. We raised funds among friends and relatives to ensure her treatment isn't compromised but she has to go through a lot of followup procedures (Chemotherapy/Radiation etc) to completely have her cured and this will incur a minimum cost of around INR 2,00,000 - INR 3,00,000
