I am Akshay, from Maharashtra, India. I got an offer letter for M.S in Computational Science in Engineering from the Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany for the winter 2022. I am a Mechanical Engineer and I am seeking your support to cover my first year semester fees and living expenses for 1 year as I have to show in my blocked account for my visa purpose and I will cover up my second year cost by doing part time jobs in Germany. However, the only barrier that holding me back is the initial cost of my masters.
About Me:
I belong to a small town in Solapur, Maharashtra. I am a Mechanical Engineering graduate from MIT Pune. I come from a middle-class family. I am the only person in my entire family to pursue engineering so far. Even though my family did not understand what I am doing, they have been supportive and they spent more than 7 lakhs rupees on my academics including my diploma and degree in mechanical engineering so far.
The course I got admitted to, is the merge of major engineering fields like Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, and Mathematics & Computer Science. This course will help me to understand and resolve real-life problems based on major engineering fields.
Financial Constraints:
As I am from a middle-class family flying abroad is like a dream out of reality. My family is finding it difficult to fund my higher education. My immediate family, who already funded my undergrad studies and German language course, It’s not possible to pay the entirety of the required funds which is around 10,26,770 INR/12,717 Euro.
I was also working on obtaining an education loan in India. However, due to some legalities I am not eligible to obtain education loan, though I have secured amount of 2,00,000 INR/2,477 Euro, from mortgaging some my family heritage such as gold and also by lending some money from relatives, even stretching our limit this much amount we are able to gather so far, we are still lacking behind huge amount to collect which is 8,26,770 INR/ 10,239 Euros.
