This is story of Akshay S Deshpande. He is 25 years old smart chap, educated but cannot write. Because, he is bed-ridden from past 3 years and does not have control over his body due to spinal cord injury.

Three years ago he met with an accident and survived with injuries. His mother, who is sole earning member in the family took loans, received some donations from relatives and got the surgery done. In spite of that, his spinal cord damage could not be recovered fully and he continues to be bed-ridden till date.

He lost his father when he was a small kid and since then his mother is taking care him and his two siblings. She was expecting him to complete his education and start earning. Unfortunately, even before her dream come true, her son met with this accident.

She did not lose hope. She took care of him with a hope of getting the right treatment done. Now, based on the suggestions given by her well-wishers, she has consulted the doctors at this hospital in Mumbai and wants to get the surgery done.

Since she is the only earning member in the family, she needs support from generous donors for meeting the medical expenses.
