Akshay Kumaris a 20-year-old boy who comes from an economically deprived background. His father, a mechanic raised Akshay Kumar with the best of his abilities to give him a better life than he himself had. The 20-year old boy recently graduated with a B. Com degree and just took his first step towards a promising career, he even managed to find himself a job to get him closer to his goals and dreams in life.
As cruel as life can get, one day he met with a serious road accident (on 11 August 2019) and was rushed to Manipal Hospital (Bangalore) where he had to undergo Decompressive Craniotomy (It is performed on victims of traumatic brain injury, stroke and other conditions associated with raised intracranial pressure). The Neurosurgeon working on the case recommends that he stays in the hospital for another 3 weeks.
The approximate cost of hospitalization comes up to INR 14,00,000/- which Akshay Kumar’s family cannot afford. If this 20-year-old boy is not given proper treatment, he will never be able to live a normal life again. All his dream’s and his dad’s hopes will be shattered.
