Dear Friends,
My name is Thresa Joseph (Violet ) and I come to you today with a heavy heart, seeking your help for my son, Akhil K. Joseph. He is 30 years old and has always been the light and joy of our family. From the very first time he touched football, everyone knew he was a born footballer. Whether it was his family or friends, anyone who thought of him could only picture him in his football jersey, with a ball at his feet. From the age of 11, his coaches and friends hailed him as a future professional football player. As his mother, I was always the happiest and proudest. The numerous trophies and accolades he won only strengthened his dedication to the sport. However, just when he was at the peak of his career, life took a devastating turn. During his first year of college, he was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease(IGA NEPHROPATHY STAGE 4 ALSO KN0WN AS BERGER’S DISEASE), which led to the failure of both his kidneys. At that time, he was at the height of his football career, and the news came as a shock to him and our entire family. But my son stood strong, showing incredible spirit to overcome this challenge. The only option was a kidney transplant, and I donated my kidney to save my son. On December 31, 2013, his kidney transplant was successfully performed at Medical Trust Hospital, kochi, by God's grace. I watched my son fight to regain a normal life.
Over time, he slowly started living life again, overcoming his struggles. Despite the odds, he fought to return to the game he loved the most. Though he wasn’t the same player as before, he pushed himself and steadily made progress. But four months ago, he was diagnosed with jaundice, and the doctors gave us heartbreaking news—Akhil's kidneys had failed once again. This time, neither he nor our family could understand why life had been so unfair. Until now, we have fought this battle alone, without seeking outside help, but we no longer have the financial ability or the emotional strength to continue on our own. For the past four months, my son has been undergoing dialysis two times a week. This is the only option until we can transplant his kidney again. However, this time, we must find a donor and raise the funds for the transplant, which is far beyond what we can afford. With every ounce of hope left in me, I humbly request your support to help my son get back to a normal life. The weekly medical expenses alone are overwhelming, and we have exhausted all our resources. Watching my son hold onto hope and fight, despite his physical and emotional struggles, has made me even more determined to explore every possible way to help him recover.
We reach out to you with all our hearts, asking for your generous support in covering my son's medical expenses. Every contribution, no matter how small, means the world to him in this battle for life. Your kindness can give my son a second chance to live the life he deserves. Please join us in this fight to save him. Kindly share his story, keep him in your prayers, and if possible, donate to make a difference in his journey. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for standing with us during this difficult time.

These are my son’s accolades, which he still looks at every day. I request you to go through them.
