I am Akash, a martial arts and self defence instructor from New Delhi, India.
I have been selected to represent India at the 2022 World Championship organised by United World Martial Arts Federation in Namibia, where I will compete with champions from 40+ countries. This is a huge honour for me. I have been training and preparing well to make my country proud.
I come from a family that is supportive of my aspirations but unfortunately does not have the resources to contribute to my journey - my father works as a driver and mother as a house wife. However, I have always worked towards my goals with sincerity and enthusiasm. I studied at a government school in Delhi where I did not get many opportunities to pursue my interests, but Class 11 onwards, I had started attending many workshops on fitness, strength building, etc. on my own initiative. I practiced consistently to improve my skill levels. In 2018 after passing class 12, I became a certified Krav Maga instructor. Since then, I have been working as a fitness and self-defence coach, and have helped many clients and students move ahead on their fitness journeys. Through my efforts, I have also been able to contribute to my family income.
I now need your support to achieve another milestone - representing India at an international platform. This is a once-in-a lifetime opportunity for me which will enable me to bring laurels to my country and will also help me move ahead in my own career in the martial arts sector. I am in urgent need of Rs 3 lakh to cover the following expenses for my participation in the World Championship:

Hotel sharing basis+Food
Local travel
Entering fees
Registration fees UWMAF India
Seminar fees
Kit - karate dress & gears
Formal dress-All adding upto 130000
