My son, Adwait Pisar, now aged 16, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in June 2017 and was treated at Nagpur. Unfortunately, the disease relapsed in Feb 2020 and he was advised Bone Marrow Transplant, a very costly treatment. The initial estimate was 25 Lakh, and in Feb 2020, we had initiated the process also.  But due to COVID situation, we had to abandon the procedure around May 2020.

Again in Feb 2021, the disease relapsed.  He was started on FLAG chemotherapy followed by stem cell transplant.

The disease did not respond to this intense regimen also and now the only hope rests on an under-trial drug called Inotuzumab (Pfizer).

The total budget has increased now to 50 L.  If we didn't go for this, it was end of road.

 We are trying our best to arrange the funds from various possible sources.
