We all love our pet dogs! Don't we? We feed them, take care of their basic needs and ensure we provide them the best medical care when they fall sick. Ever wondered what happens to stray animals when they fall sick? Most of them end up suffering in silence and very few get help. In backward cities, villages and towns of India, humans themselves suffer so much that the the government counts Animals as their least of priorities. Animal Birth Control is sluggish, hence the population of dogs have exploded largely and has gone beyond control as of now.
We run a small animal shelter cum rehab centre where we bring in sick and injured animals and treat them. We also bring in old and blind dogs, abandoned dogs, motherless puppies too. We try to get maximum dogs adopted. All the animals that come to the shelter for treatment are vaccinated and sterilised.
We also try and get maximum number of community dogs sterilised in our capacity. We feed over 250 strays in different regions where there is no source of food.
Our running costs of the shelter include staff salaries, food expenses, medical bills and transport costs largely. We are wanting to grow bigger in terms of animal healthcare and concentrate more on animal birth control.
