Adil Arman is a 10-year-old boy hailing from Bengaluru. Adil is a student of 5th grade of a charitable school in Bengaluru, his teachers describe him as a bright prospect. His father, Shaikh Aqeel (43), is a daily wage helper in a vegetable shop in Bengaluru and earns barely enough to meet two ends meals. Aqeel had relocated from Bidar City in Karnataka to Bengaluru in search of a job. The vegetable shop, where Aqeel works, is located at Kavalbyrasandra, Shampura, Bengaluru-560032.
Some 7 days back, after noticing that Adil’s left eye has been popping out more and more every passing day, they decided to visit Agarwal Eye Hospital in the city where the doctor has diagnosed the boy with a lesion or tumor on the orbital roof of the left eye, which is making the left eye protrude out. The diagnosis report mentions the lesion in the medical terms as “Aneurysmal Bone Cyst (ABC) from lesser wing of sphenoid extending into superior orbital wall.”
After the diagnosis, the boy had been referred to Ramaiah Memorial Specialty Hospital in Bengaluru, where the doctors suggested a medical procedure to remove the lesion and reconstruction of the orbital roof. The cost of this procedure is estimated to be approximately Rs. 2.25 Lakh. Already terrified with the diagnosis report, the cost of the surgery further inflicted unbearable pain and moved the earth from the feet of the poor family.
As the child’s father is a daily wage worker, it has become a huge challenge for him to arrange this amount by himself. Hence, he is approaching with hope to each fortunate one of you to save his lonely son’s life by donating whatever you can and saving a helpless child’s life. Hope you all will care for the innocent life with whatever amount possible!
