Introducing 18 year old Abin - a boy of several talents. A fantastic athlete who has won several medals and trophies in track events, Abin who completed his 12th standard education is a Kabaddi champion and a folk artist. Though he performs Singari melam to earn some income, his heart lies in working towards a bright future in the field of sports. His father is a coolie and presently due to the current situation they are both without income. Abin climbs coconut trees and retrieves coconuts to earn a little money for the family to keep starvation at bay.

The roof of his house is severely damaged and water seeps in forcing them to use all the vessels at home to ensure the house doesn't flood. Hence they are all without sleep during the rainy season. Abin had hoped to repair the roof of his home before joining college. But his hopes were shattered with his earnings and opportunities wiped off due to the pandemic.
