My brother Abhishek who lives in Indore, met an accident by a City bus. He and my sister in law both were on a two wheeler. They were hit by a city bus from behind. They were immediately taken to Medanta hospital Indore. While my sister in law got minor injury in leg and head and she is keeping okay now, my brother ended up getting major trauma on stomach on the left side. Because of this blunt trauma he ended up getting injury in lot of internal body organs.

1. His diaphragm broke
2. His liver was damaged
3. His kidney got damaged and kidney was completely separate from urator.
4. His Intestine had to be removed by 50% as blood supply was stopped due to this trauma.
5. His lungs also got a major injury.
6. He also got a major fracture in his right hand where his arteries were damaged.

Abhishek was discharged from hospital and stayed at home for two months to recover enough for the final remaining two surgeries. Abhishek has gone through these last two major surgeries yesterday. One of the surgeries was of connecting the urator back to Kidney and second surgery was for closing of colostomy.

The previous bill was of 16 Lakh rupees and for this current visit the bill is already around 6 Lakh. Total bill has reached around 22 Lakh. The new bills and estimate are updated with this update.

Doctors are saying that Abhishek should be discharged in next 7-10 days after recovering. We are still short of funds.  Please continue to support my brother and pray for his speedy recovery.
