Hello! This is Sheetal Singh and I'm a small entrepreneur in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. We had a small and happy family of my three daughters and my husband, Abhishek Chauhan, who runs a small transportation business. Everything was going well, until a tragedy hit us.
The Tragedy
One week ago, My 2nd daughter, Harshika Chauhan, suddenly fell down after vomitting and had a seizure attack. Our world was devastated in just 5 minutes. We took her to Visakha Child Care Hospital in Gajuwaka, and they admitted her. After 2 days of being given 2 antibiotics and 2 Saline Bottles, we brought her back home, where she again had a seizure attack. We, then, shifted her to Krishna Hospital in Maharanipeta, and there the doctor prescribed a MRI scan of her brain and an EEG test.
Pilocytic Astrocytoma
My 7 year old daughter has being diagnosed with this disease. The Neurosurgeon in Lotus Hospital for Mother and Children Care, said that a lot of CSF ( Cerebra spinal Fluid) has been generated in her brain and a 6 cm tumor has blocked her tube through which the fluid flows. The Neurosurgeon will be performing Hydrocephalus using shunts and then will be removing the tumor.
