In this time of Pandemic due to Covid 19, I have already exhausted what I could for the people in need in small households and for people on the streets in the city. What I learned is I need much to do much more than I have done. I have provided proper soaps, masks, sanitizers, and basic food items to the not so well to do families and individuals on the street. We as citizens of this country need to come forward and do what we can. Donations in this won't help you get tax benefits but a small contribution could give you satisfaction. People will not go on the streets if we provide basic resources they need to survive and home and not get infected.
With the nationwide lockdown, a number of daily wagers have been rendered jobless. With every passing day, the crisis is growing as we have a significant number of families who survive on daily wages. Workers at construction sites, shops, restaurants, delivery staff, street hawkers and local transport systems have seen their income coming to a halt. Apart from this, our state which is developed has a huge influx of migrant laborers who are now stuck without food and shelter on the streets.
