My name is Archana Nath, and I am seeking support for my husband, Abhijeet Nath, 39 years old. He is a Mechanical Engineer from IIT Kharagpur. Abhijeet is a devoted father, a loving son, and the strength of our small family in Patna, Bihar, where he lives with me, our 3 year old son, and his elderly parents.
A few weeks ago, our lives changed overnight when Abhijeet suffered a severe brain stroke. He is now in the ICU at Manipal Hospital, Bengaluru, fighting with every ounce of strength to recover. Despite the seriousness of his condition, doctors have noted encouraging signs in his reports, his vitals are stabilizing, and he is showing small but meaningful neurological responses. These glimpses of progress remind us every day of his determination to return to his family.
Abhijeet was the only earning member of our household. His hard work and dedication sustained us and gave us hope for a better future for our little boy. Now, with him critically ill, we are not only emotionally broken but also facing an immense financial burden.
We have already spent around INR 17 Lacs through savings and loans. But his treatment is far from over. Doctors have advised that we urgently need an additional INR 2 CR to continue his ICU care followed by further physiotherapy treatment and give him the best possible chance at recovery.
