Dr aparna deshmukh is general surgeon who has started 70 beded oldage Home in pune city named as Abhalmaya oldage home, has devoted her whole life for work.Extreme poverty, diseased, homeless, lifelong brahmacharis, paralysed,mentally challenged and for any other such dependent elderly, this Abhalmaya gives care and shelter. They are mainly retired from their jobs with small or no pension, abandoned parents, parents without children, or single persons. 
For any medical requirement including emergencies, depend upon adjoining hospitals. Generally speaking at other places If the treatment for ailment is within budget, then the inmate is provided with that service. Otherwise alternative treatment is given which leads to decrease in health conditions. The persons are left to the fate/ or not treated But at abhalmaya, Dr Deshmukh helps the inmates with medical treatment through Silver Nursing Home where minimum of 5 Beds are always reserved for Abhalmaya inmates. She herself with her own expenses treats the persons to the best of her abilities. She dedicates most of her earnings as a surgeon towards AbhalmayaUptill now abhalmaya has given free shelter for 300 orphan oldage people and with very less fees for low social economic class oldage people has been taken care are more than 3000.Hospital has provided upto 40 lacs rupees teatments for free .Uptill now dr aparna deshmukh has performed more than 2000 opperation for free .she has done last rights of 50 orphan grandparents. Monthly expenses to run oldage home it requires more than 5 lac rupees.Including building rent 2 lac per month,grocery expenses, staff salary, maintenance, and medical expenses .
