The New Learning Heights is a Special School and a Remedial Centre for differently able children, established in the year 2015. It is well located in Dwarka, New Delhi. It is registered under Societies Registered Act , PWD act 2016 and 80G & 12A of Income Tax Act.
The school serve children who are having issues like Autism, ADHD (Attention Deficit hyper Active disorder), Mental Retardation, Cerebral Palsy, Slow Learner, Learning Disability, Multiple Disability, ADD (Attention deficit disorder) etc.
In India, families of differently-abled children struggle to find the necessary services, opportunities and support to help their child reach their full potential. Particularly in rural areas, without support, parents often give up hope and special needs children are left to languish at home.
The main focus is to prepare each child independent and this has been achieved through Individual Educational Plan for each child. Some of the children are really belonged to below poverty lines who are unable to pay a minimum fees also.
The Centre is successfully running from past 5 years without any external support. This has been achieved with the support from parents and few donors.
As COVID-19 continues to spread, the future has never felt so unpredictable. These are challenging times for us all. Right now, we are doing everything possible to sustain our daily operations, paying salaries to our multidisciplinary professionals, paying rent for our project office and provide services to our community.
While there’s a lot of uncertainty, we know that we need to adapt fast to our changing reality. Adapting to these unprecedented circumstances, our professionals have made necessary modification in working module, such as conducting online sessions to our students, counselling sessions to parents as well on regular basis. We will continue to serve our community as best as we can.
Now, more than ever, our community needs us and we need support from organizations. In times like this, we’re reminded of how interconnected we all are.
Hence it is our humble request to provide us some donation so that it can be used for continuation of running the centre from the same place & help the special children in long run.
