Rustic Pathways is a USA-based organization that organizes service trips to different countries and engages students through impact at the core of the experience. I am one of the few fortunate students to have been selected for the Surf and service trip to Costa Rica with a 100% scholarship (excluding flight to and from India). This program will provide me with the exposure and skills for change-making in India and towards my long-term goal to serve at the UN.
I come from a lower-middle family in Lucknow where my widowed single mother is the sole breadwinner of the house. The roundtrip from India to Costa Rica costs equal to my mother's 1-year income.
