I am an English teacher and I sensitise my students to a lot of social issues and causes.  When I introduced them to Milaap and the cause they stand for, they were eager to contribute their little lot.  One such story that touched them deeply was that of Anchal. 

Anchal was diagnosed with 3rd stage breast cancer and had to undergo the usual painful therapies.  But she bounced back and realised the purpose of her life.  She met a group of kids begging, and refused to give money but offered them food instead.  This was the beginning of her founding the NGO - 'Meals of Happiness', to be able to serve more people.  This dogged determined lady serves 5000 meals of happiness for the needy everyday in Delhi!  My students want to reach out to Anchal, but since they are students and don't earn they were wondering how to make a difference.  It was then these lovely girls came up with the idea of designing a Doodle Calendar 2020 to raise funds and contribute the proceeds for Anchal's noble cause.
