Avyang Foundation is a non-profit organisation that works with the mission to serve destitutes and elderly above the age of 50 to live a healthy, happy and peaceful life. Avyang currently runs a destitute and old age home in Mariyannapalya area of north Bangalore and provides food, clothes, shelter, health care (physical and psychological), recreational activities in an environment of love, care and compassion.

Avyang currently runs a destitute and old age home in Mariyannapalya area of north Bangalore and provides food, clothes, shelter, health care (physical and psychological), recreational activities in an environment of love, care and compassion.
About the Destitute and Old Age Home
The home established in April 2022, has served more than 52 destitutes and elderly till now. 26 people currently live in the home. 11 people who were rescued from streets were reintegrated with their families by locating their families. The home provides 24x7 nursing care, healthy and nutritious food, doctor on call facility, special care for bedridden, clean and hygienic environment, laundry and housekeeping services, and a homely atmosphere for destitutes and abandoned elders from economically deprived families and communities.
Need for an Ambulance
Many residents suffer from various ailments, some of the ailments are chronic and require regular medical attention. During health emergencies they need to be taken to nearest hospital. Those who are not mobile, bed-ridden, wheelchair users and other persons with disabilities need assistance to visit hospitals. Having own ambulance is necessary for safe transportation and timely medical care.
