As a result of the lockdown announced due to the corona virus pandemic, there is a crisis amongst the guest labourers in Kerala, as they are unable to return to their homes. They are also without jobs and most have been evicted from their rental accommodations, as they can no longer afford it. Currently, they have been moved to camps, but are in crowded and unhygienic conditions. We would like to raise funds to provide them with essentials such as masks, sanitisers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soaps, and maybe even a small treat like a packet of biscuits. I hope you will all support our fellow citizens in making their lives a little more comfortable during this difficult time.
