Dear All,
Greetings of the day...!!!
In several states, the dropout rates in secondary schools have increased over the past three years; according to data from the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), as many as a quarter of the children leave secondary school without completing Classes 9 and 10.
the MHRD minister told Parliament that the dropout rates of students in Class 9 and Class 10 had crossed almost a fifth of the total enrolment rate in 2017-18
In as many as 11 states, the dropout rate in secondary school was over 20 percent. In Assam, about a third of the students dropped out, and in Bihar, it was 32 percent despite an improvement of the previous year’s.
The dropout rate in India
The official data also reflects a higher rate of dropout among boys than girls in 16 states of the country. States like Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Chattisgarh relatively have more boys discontinuing formal education.
Increasing dropout rates in India
We are using the fund that we are raising from Milaap to readmission in School for those who drop out of schools and those who want to learn and do not have any support.
We also run a small part-time coaching center to support students studying, but they need help to resolve questions after school.
We will hire a teacher, so we need to pay the teacher fee, and we need a place so we will pay place rent.
Please Keep Support us. Donate Us and share this fundraising campaign within your circle.
