    This fundraiser will benefit

17 orphaned girls in appearing for their NEET exams

    from Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir

The Jammu and Kashmir Yateem Trust has the distinction of being the first and the oldest Charitable organisation of J & K, established in 1972. The Trust with its strong network of 75 units is spread all over Jammu & Kashmir.
The Trust has been successfully run by late Tak sahab’s children, and through Zakat & Donations. Sadly, due to the challenging circumstances of the pandemic and the financial paucity caused worldwide, the trust is experiencing a depletion in donations which has made its functioning strenuous. This fundraiser is an attempt to help one of their branches. Situated in the outskirts of Srinagar, Gulshan E Banaat Education Institute and Hostel is a branch of Jammu and Kashmir Yateem Trust. It is a school and residential abode for over a 100 young orphaned girls. The trust takes care of their education, housing and safety; along with helping them pursue their graduation goals.
Due to the scarcity of funds as a result of the aforementioned conditions, the trust is struggling to help some of the the current 12th graduate students in appearing for their NEET (medical entrance) exams.
These young girls are unimaginably bright and ambitious, they have already trudged along a pebbled road and worked extremely hard to reach the stage of their entrance exams. They have spent countless hours in the toughest circumstances preparing for these tests without the comfort of family, friends.
For them this is a light at the end of a long tunnel, and they are holding stars in their eyes.
Lets come together to help these beautiful young girls take a step towards a brighter future.
