Save Daily Wagers & Needy From Starving

Smileys India is registered trust working towards helping people in need through volunteering and focuses on creating inclusion for persons with disability by person with and without disability volunteering together to help needy.
We have put up a virtual volunteering network of 60 volunteers leveraging the existing delivery services like DUNZO, Swiggy, Lava Move India etc and NGOs with Government passes to go out and deliver food to make sure we do our best to avoid people starving during lock down due to lack of income.

This fundraiser is to provide groceries and ration for people in who got stuck with out any income due to the corona lockdown till the lock down is over.
Our beneficiaries are 150 Immigrant labours stuck at Attebelle, 25 families from a slum at Babusapalaya, 63 familes from 2 slums at benzon town and 20 transgenders stuck at Dasarahalli and 200 kids in 3 shelter homes.

We need a total of 1.5 lakhs to support these people (150 labors, 200 kids and 88 families in total)

Dear Supporters,

Thank you for all the support from each one of you. Apart from the 2500+ people we helped in the initial lockdown in March 2020 we were able to help more people in the month of August too. In August we helped One Single mother with baby food and necessary grocery and 32 families of Visually Impaired / Blind people who lost jobs. 32 families have 124 people who were in need of groceries. In September we will be supporting more families of people with disability.
