Dalit Vikas Abhiyan Samiti (DVAS) through its cadre of volunteers is promoting home based learning approach in 50 urban slums of Patna, Samastipur, Gaya, Bodh Gaya to provide relief to 1032 such girls from malnutrition and mental illness. and enhance their learning level with the involvement of their parents in the teaching learning process. Apart from this, the organization is also sensitizing such families to bring girls back to schools and with the help of school teachers, has been successful in enrolling about 2386 girls in government schools around the settlements, so that the children are able to move ahead.
