    Kamadugha Trust

    from Bangalore, Karnataka

As you can recall, we had severe drought last year; due to this
in a place like Male Mahadeshwara betta (MM Hills), there were thousands of
cows started dying  without having enough fodder and water. To bring
back cows from that situation, Kamadugha trust (which is NGO known in Karnataka
and working for protecting Desi breed cows under the guidance of HH Sri
Shankaracharya Sri Raghaveshwara Bharati Swamiji) ensured cows would
survive in that situation by supplying hundreds of tons of fodder with the help
of each one of you. The story continues – as we are witnessing this year
also we are going towards the drought situation. Hence this time Kamadugha
trust has envisioned own cattle filed in dedicated land of around hundred acres
which provides the shelter / fodder and water for thousands of desi cows - it
is getting realized in the concept called ‘Gou Swarga’ and it is planned to be
inaugurated on 27th of May .

‘Gou Swarga’ is very unique and great concept. This is the place
where thousands of cows have freedom of being with their calves and can have
fodder / water as per their need – cows are not tied up all the time and
declined the opportunity of having food and cows are always associated calves
any time. desi breed cows are protected here without having any commercial
purpose and they would be survived and protected on their convenience – fodder
that is offered purely grown organically and available to the cows whenever
cows need it.

As all of us aware, this is a very big initiative and dream
getting envisioned which absolutely needs lot of resources in all
angles. Kamadugha trust is looking for all of your support to protect and
grow the heritage the desi cows.

Sugrasa is all about treating Desi cows at Gouswarga with the food these cows deserve to. And, to know more details about what is GouSwarga, visit
