"SNR Rural Education Trust" was set up in year 2001, to help the rural kids get top quality education in their own neighborhood, in a remote rural area.

SNR (Shintoor Narayana Rai) a second world war veteran and a teacher, dreamt of this rural mission in Savanoor, Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka. We have provided education to over 12,000students, all passing out with flying colors with Indian value based education and knowledge.

The school located in a 25 acre campus surrounded by trees on all sides. The spacious classrooms are equipped with smart boards charts and working kits. Kids have an opportunity to use the multi gym and two 200m track. Kannada and volleyball training is also provided. Vidyarashmi GIRLS Kabaddi team is a force to be reckoned with at district level and state level EVENTS. 5 buses pick up kids from a 30 km radius.

Teachers are audited regularly by the management to maintain quality of teaching.

Today we are looking for sponsors to help the rural kids achieve their dreams and become successful citizens contributing to the growth of our motherland.

Become a Donor!! You can sponsor a girl child's education or help the school by cash or through books and computers.The money collected would be used on the education of a girl child. The cost per child is 60,000 per year.The tution fees is 20,000 per year and 40,000 per year is INCLUSIVE of food, hostel, books and uniform this year we intend to sponsor atleast 9-10 kids.
