Sphoorti Foundation runs a Home for 207 children (STD I to STD X) in Dundigal and sponsors education and living expenses of another 55 children who are studying STD XI and above. Last year, we had great performance from STD X children. 14 /14 children passed STD X public examinations. We wish to continue the winning streak.

As part of our efforts to improve quality of education and teaching, we have been sponsoring teachers, non-teaching staff and tutors in the schools as well as hired tutors in Sphoorti. We are laying special focus on preparation of STD IX and STD X children with the help of after-school tutoring hours. We are seeking support for their monthly salaries for 8 months.

Here are the details of support expenses (monthly):

1. Two teachers in High School - Rs 6000 x 2
2. Two teachers in Primary School - Rs 5500 x 2
3. One Aaya in each school - Rs 3500 x 2
4. Two after school hours tutors for STD IX and X - Rs 2500 x 2
5. Two tutors in Sphoorti - Rs 4000 x 2

We are also in need of a Public Address System and Sound equipment in the ZPHS for better communication between the school management and students
