(110 kms rally may take 2days)
We are a group of nature loving students aged between 17 and 25, named as OPSA (Odisha Paryavaran Sanrakshan Abhiyan). We have been doing certain conservation actvities and nature awareness programmes since 2015.Riding on the success so far, we have planned to organize a one day mass awareness campaign in the January 1st week 2017 with 60 cyclists. The motive will be - to save the tigers of Odisha.Sadly there are less than 50 tigers left in the state and it's extremely urgent to make people aware about the situation and the necessity to save tiger.This rally will be routed from Bhubaneshwar to Satkosia Tiger Reserve with the message - "Save the Tigers of Odisha".
We successfully concluded a cycle rally recently, in June on Green & Clean Coastline with 50 participants which covered 100kms in Coastal area . It is very unfortunate that despite our repeated requests, the District Office did not respond. That left us on our own, without any moral or mentionable material support.
We humbly request you to kindly bless, guide and support us in this endeavour.
