I am a young Entrepreneur from India, who is trying to change the way people buy products online and offline in India.
I have been selected for the upcoming MIT Global Entrepreneurship Bootcamp 2018 at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I am one of the 50+ people shortlisted from an outstanding pool of applicants that included students, professionals, entrepreneurs and inventors from all over the world. I am attaching the admission letter from MIT for your reference.

I have launched this campaign to raise funds to cover the cost of attending the Bootcamp. The estimated expenses are as follows:
Tuition Fee: USD 6k
Air fare & Visa (Cheapest option): USD 2.5k
Stay in Brazil for 1 week, lodging: USD 1k
I am looking for institutions/enterprises/companies/individuals who can sponsor me for the MIT experience, which is essentially a dream come true for any Engineering student and it'll be a life changing experience for me!
About Me :
I am a very enthusiastic Builder. Whenever I am working on (or come across somebody who is working on) a project, I try to evaluate and see if and how it can be taken to the masses as a product solution. I am highly interested in building electronics, product research and development, and at the same time, the idea of scaling these solutions for mass adoption is something that I find most engaging as well as rewarding at so many levels.
Currently I am pursuing degree of B.E. in the field of Instrumentation and Control Engineering from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, Delhi University. My complete portfolio is listed at http://yuganshchokra.com
I started coding in my 5th standard and created an app for Microsoft in my 9th standard, for this I was honoured with "Microsoft Associate Developer Award 2012". In my initial days of high school I realized that I love creating products and solving real life problems. In 2013, I created a drone with the scholarship of ₹60,000 ($1000) I received from IIT-Delhi and Delhi College of Engineering (also known as Delhi Technological University). After that, I created a humanoid robot for merely ₹10,000 ($150) only. I was a runner up at Young Scientist India 2014, where I presented my idea of developing an Instantaneous Refrigerator in front of a panel including scientists from NASA as well. In 2016, I was honoured with the award, "Blogger of the Year (Rising Star)" in BlogX conference.
I have a diverse skillset across software development, cloud computing, machine learning, and robotics
My dream is to change the way in which people shop online and offline, we are trying to empower the small retailers in India.
How is the MIT Bootcamp important for me?
I'll use the opportunity to attend the bootcamp to:
Refine my business skills as an entrepreneur : Since I come from an Engineering background, I have been learning lessons in Entrepreneurship the hard way uptil now. At the bootcamp, I'll learn from some of the best technology entrepreneurs from all over the world.
Network : I'll get to talk to, and possibly collaborate with, people solving the same problem in different parts of the world. This will be an opportunity to bring even more innovation to my startup. The knowledge people carrying around in MIT is totally incredible.
Enhancing the user experience of Indian customers using new Technologies : MIT is undoubtedly the world's #1 college for STEM subjects. There are a lot of innovative and disruptive technologies that are developed there, and have the potential to impact the world. My intent is to observe their cutting edge solutions in e-commerce sector and adapt them to the best of my abilities for India.
