9-year-old Lavan is an international gold medalist at Taekwondo and has spent the last four years practising the sport. Despite their financial struggles, Chandra and Uday did all they could to give him access to training and always supported him. However, 3 years ago, the happy and active Lavan’s life changed. He was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease, a chronic inflammatory bowel disease that affects the lining of the digestive tract and causes life-threatening complications. Little Lavan now needs continued medication to survive the disease, without which, he could have irreversible damage to his intestines and severe nutritional deficiencies. Unfortunately, after somehow managing to afford their treatment till now, his parents have nothing left to continue it.
Your support will help this young Taekwondo champion get timely treatment and have a chance of a healthy, bright future.
