Cuddalore (small town in TAMILNADU, INDIA)  has been witnessing extremely heavy rainfall since last few days. In just five days, from November 30 to December 4, 2015, the town recorded 503 mm of rain.

This is an initiative from couple of friends who spent most of the childhood in cuddalore to save the town and help the people in need.

We have identified volunteers and good samaritans on the ground and will be using them to help the needed. We will update this page periodically on how this money is being spent.

Also MILAAP had waived off the fees for all TN flood relief activities. This is applicable for all campaigns related to this initiative. Thanks MILAAP.

The incessant rain has devasted the entire district. According to the state control room, 27 people has died, 28 villages under water, 4000 elecricity poles uprooted, 22000 hectares of agri land severaly flooded and over 100000 people are affected.

Thousands of families are still stranded and awaiting help in their homes across the district. Rapid Response is preparing to provide much-needed relief supplies to the families affected by the flood.
We need your generous contribution. Please support our relief efforts! The funds raised here will go towards. Relief Package - Includes Rice, Wheat, Dal and Cooking Oil for families, books for children etc.
