Help Rajaram Fight Cancer

Rajaram Shinde, 42, from Mumbai was diagnosed with lung cancer (Metastatic T790M Mutation) in January 2016 and after initial treatment through 6 chemotherapies, the doctor had advised him to a tablet until July 2018. He is a stage 3 (advance) cancer patient.
Recently his report showed that the current medication is not suiting his treatment due to the progression of the disease and hence his doctor prescribed him Osimertinib tablet which is costing Rs. 2,04,435.84 per month however through Medical Representative (MR) he is getting this tablet at Rs. 1,63,000. This tablet has had a positive outcome on Rajaram who is feeling better much better.
Through support from his office and some foundations and NGOs, he has managed to afford this expensive tablet for the last 2-3 months, not anymore. His salary is not enough to spend Rs. 1.63 lakh every month nor does he has enough savings to fund. His family condition is not good either and cannot afford the tablet at his current income as he is the sole earning member in his family. He is also supporting his elder brother’s family who lost his job when he had to be with Rajaram for his treatment.
The doctor has strictly advised him to be on Osimertinib tablet as that’s the only medicine which can help him survive. He is in distress and has lost all hopes as he has been visiting several foundations and NGOs but none of them are able to support beyond Rs. 20,000-25,000 that too only once. This is not enough to fund his monthly treatment. He cannot afford to miss his medicine nor he can afford to sit at home as he is the only earning member supporting his and brother’s family.
His medical reports and doctor advise are attached for your reference. He is getting treated in Bombay Hospital and Medical Research Centre
Your support can make a huge difference to help him fund his treatment and live longer.
Thank you for your support in advance.

Farooque Shaikh

Rajaram has been taking medicine from Bangladesh which is cheaper than the existing Indian drug prescribed by the doctor and the medicine for two months is Rs. 25,000 while the one subscribed by the doctor is Rs. 1,65,000 per month. As he could not afford the monthly expenses of Rs. 1,65,000, the doctor has advised him to use Bangladesh medicine which is buying every two months however there is no receipt for the same.
Recently he got the test done and the expense of the same is attached herewith. He is using the fund raised through Milaap to buy the medicine. He is expecting a report of his recent tests and get clarity on his treatment.
Thank you again for your platform and all the supporters for contributing to his treatment.

Here's a quick update:
On the basis of Dr's recommendation for a low cost cancer drug from Bangladesh for needy patient, Rajaram is trying two month trial (minimum pack to be purchased is for 2 months) with a different medicine sourced from Bangladesh which is 12x cheaper than the drug he is taking currently. However, there is no receipt given for Bangladesh medicine. He will be going to the original medicine prescribed by the doctor if this is not effective.
Thank You for the support.
