What is Lymphoblastic Leukemia?
It is cancer that starts when cells in the body begin to grow out of control. Cells in nearly any part of the body can become cancer, and can spread to other areas of the body. Hence, it is very important that this form of cancer is treated and managed at the earliest before it spreads.
Anantha was urgently asked to begin chemotherapy and he has shown improvement but in order to recover completely, he needs to undergo a bone marrow transplant.

“This morning he was crying and throwing a tantrum. He wants to see his sister. He wanted to know why he is in the hospital for a fever. The last time we were at home. I could not tell him that it is cancer.”
The total cost of the bone marrow transplant is around 20 Lakh Rs. For Srinivas, this is too high an amount to afford and he is worried that without these he will be unable to save his son. He needs our help.
“Just a few months ago he was playful and energetic. Now he cannot get out of bed. I cannot even recognize him. I am afraid if I cannot come up with this money in 2 weeks, I will lose him.”
