Dear Sir / Madam

Mission79 Alumni is making this appeal on behalf of the parents of a dying child as the parents are not in a position to do so.

Your kind help is sincerely solicited to save the life of 9-year old girl who needs Bone Marrow Transplant at the earliest at Tata Medical Centre , Kolkata.

Her MRN is : MR/11/002002

Other details are as under :

1: The Child Aishika Ghosh was born on 27-07-2009 . She has been suffering form Thalassaemia Major.
2: Her disease was diagnosed when she was 2 months old. Since then she is having Blood transfusion on a regular basis.

3: She is the only child of Shri Tarun Kumar Ghosh and Smt Subhra Ghosh from Burdwan, West Bengal. Earning of the family is Roughly Rs 4000/- per month.

4: To save Aishika by the way of  transplanting Bone Marrow of own sibling , the couple had decided to have another healthy baby in the year 2013.
5: But Antenatal test of the pregnant mother suggested that the baby would born with the same deadly disease. Hence that baby could not be saved and the couple had no option left but to go for unrelated Matched donor for Bone Marrow Transplant.

6: Since then the parents of the child have kept their hope alive and have kept Aishika on blood transfusion . But now the transplant has become inevitable. She is under treatment at Tata Medical Centre. The hospital has given an estimate of Rs 25 lakhs for the transplant and allied medical expenses. Her parents have no means to bear this cost of treatment and to save their only child.

Kindly help and save the child.
