The Hyderabad High Court on Friday acquitted P Satyam Babu, a man who has spent 8 years in jail, for the rape and murder of a young girl in December 2007. Ayesha Meera, a 17-year-old pharmacy student in Vijayawada was stabbed to death, her body was found outside the toilet on the second floor of the hostel she was staying in. In spite of Ayesha's mother telling the sessions court that they believed Satyam Babu was not the culprit, the case went against him. Finally the High Court acquitted him on Friday March 31st, 2017.
It is believed that the real criminal in this case is the grand son of a political leader. While we are shamelessly helpless in punishing the criminal in India's highly corrupt police and legal system, we, the common man can definitely help Satyam Babu make a decent living and give him confidence.
Let's convert our anger in to a positive action that can produce some results.
This fundraiser will help Satyam Babu make a decent life moving forward. This fundraiser will lead to a legal help fund that can help fight cases against innocent people like him.
