    This fundraiser will benefit

    underprivileged children

    from New Delhi, Delhi

  • Why this fundraiser ?
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, schools are closed almost for more than a year. The result is that about 250 of our underprivileged children have been permanently out of schools and from the mainstream education system. This fundraiser aims to raise funds for establishing a Free Library cum Education Center for these underprivileged children to provide them all educational resources (Textbooks, Notebooks, Study materials, Stationery and other educational resources) as well as continue providing them free and quality education and guidance to continue their education during this COVID-19 pandemic period.

  • The Cause :

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, schools are closed almost for more than a year. The result is that about 250 of our underprivileged children have been permanently out of schools and from the mainstream education system. These children stayed away from schools throughout the year. These underprivileged children had no source of online education (smartphones, computers or internet connections) as these children come from marginalized communities. Due to the closure of schools throughout the year, these children had no textbooks or study materials to continue their studies at home as well.

  • The Solution :

So in order to provide better conditions to these underprivileged children to continue their education, under our project "Mission Pustakalaya" and "Mission Taleem", we are going to set up a Free Library cum Education Center in a very underprivileged village KARTORA (a Dalit and economically and socially backward communities dominated area) in a very underdeveloped district Ambedkar Nagar of Uttar Pradesh.

Through this Library cum Education Center, we'll provide our children all educational resources (Textbooks, Notebooks, Study materials, Stationery and other educational resources) as well as continue providing them free and quality education, guidance, conducting various types of online crash courses and skill development programs and will ensure their access to primary and higher educational institutions which will lead them towards a better future ensuring Social Transformation and Social Justice in the society.

  • Our Efforts :
Our mission of social change was firstly initiated in 2019, almost two years before today. In Kartora village (a Dalit and socially and financially backward communities mejority village) of Ambedkar Nagar, a backward district of Uttar Pradesh, we had taken an initiative to provide free and quality education to underprivileged children and socially and economically backward students as well as to ensure their access to all educational resources (textbooks, notebooks, stationery and other educational resources) and better guidance for their better future. The hard work paid off by our team and our patrons and by the end of 2019 we were able to reach about 150 to 180 underprivileged children and provided free and quality education to them. We ensured their access to all educational resources (books, notebooks, stationery and other educational resources).

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic these underprivileged children were completely dropped out of schools in 2020. Schools remained closed throughout the year and the number of school dropped out students continued increasing day by day, but our efforts continued. Focusing on our vision, we were able to reach approximately 250 of such underprivileged children by the early months of 2021. We are impacting these underprivileged children since 2019. By the efforts of our team and our patrons, we have provided textbooks, notebooks, study materials, stationery and all the educational resources to these children along with providing free and quality education to them and providing them better conditions for their education so that they can flow with the mainstream and move towards a better future.

Along with our team all the villagers played an important role in this campaign of social change. As we had no source of income, these villagers were our foremost and permanent doners. The small contributions of money made by the villagers and socially active people in the form of cooperation funds, played an important role in achieving this big mission of social change.

But due to the COVID-19 pandemic, once again the entire country is going through very serious circumstances. The COVID-19 pandemic has badly affected the economic condition of the people, due to which all the families of the village are struggling with financial crisis.
Due to financial constraints we are unable to mobilize educational resources and due to their protection from the COVID-19 pandemic, we are also unable to provide education to them.
