I am fundraising to support an educational field trip for kids in Dindoshi! Support my campaign.

I am fundraising to support one of many educational initiatives taken by the NGO Sahyog for kids residing in Dindoshi, Goregaon.

Roshan is an education based program started by 4 alumni of Sahyog. It addresses thedevelopmental needs of children (0-16 years) through the twin approaches of an Early Intervention Centre (EIC) and a children's library. The Early Intervention Centre's efforts are aimed at medical and rehabilitative intervention of children with physical and mental disabilities whereas the library's goal is enrichment education.

It is constantly striving to expose them to new thoughts and ideas. Through books, the children are able to learn about different worlds and imagine different realities. Practical experience is crucial to the learning process, and therefore a field trip to Vardhaman Fantasty Park is being organised that requires funds. This park houses replicas of the Seven Wonders of the World that children have read about and seen images of.

These children may, may not be able to visit the seven wonders in person. However, they can still experience them through a visit to this park. Additionally, these field trips also play a critical role in building the self esteem of children and giving them the confidence to explore uncharted waters. This motivates children to have dreams and career aspirations beyond those commonly seen in their families or communities.
