We are fundraising to help organic farmers in India find livelihood.

Why am I fundraising?

reStore is an organisation that works closely with farmers who grow organic vegetables and fruits. We help more than  50-60 individual farmers selling their own produce and more than 12-15 organizations who are assisting farmer groups to market their produce. reStore also promotes value added goods made by farmers such as crafts, soaps etc. reStore services around 300-350 families per week. Of these about 70% buy regularly from reStore

What do I plan to do with the funds?

We want to scale and help more farmers. For this we need to market and sell more of their produce. This will require us to buy more weighing machines, more POS terminals, more laptops for billing, keeping right audits and right records. Since reStore doesn't keep any profit. We just aggregrate produce from farmers and resell them in the city to people. We are also trying to conduct events to raise awareness about organic items and how to do terrace farmings. 

In short the money you donate will be used for :
1 - Buying new weighing machinces
2 - Buying more Point of Sales devices
3 - Conducting free workshops about organic produce and terrace farming. 
4 - Scaling our operations to include more farmers and find right markets to sell the goods to more people. 


FAQ

Is reStore a vegetable selling shop ?

We are a lot more than that. Our core task is to help and support farmers who deal in organic farming. A major challenge for the farmers is to sell these organic vegetables. We help them by eliminating all middlemen and sell the vegetables, fruits, organic crafts and other produce. We are an NGO and we keep no profits out of the sales. We also conduct various events and workshops to raise sensitivity among people about going green and organic.
